I would like to announce the Dreamsicle now has pictures, we are working at a slow and steady pace. Making sure we dot our I's and cross our t's to make sure everything is in order as we start this new part of our lives. Leaving no stone un-turned as we don't want any surprises when we bring our fabulous Electric Cupcakes to the masses.
We will be make a yummy St Patty's Day cupcake. Most likely my husbands (and mine too) favorite drink for that special day, an Irish Car Bomb cupcake or to be known as I.C.B. We also have a few other St. Pattys Day ideas for cupcakes so be on the lookout as you can never be too sure what will come out of the Electric Cupcakes kitchens. So the husband and I planned taco night with one of our dearest friends, so of course what do I do..? I come up with a custom Taco Night inspired cupcake. It started with a delicious sweet but yet spicy vanilla cupcake with mexican inspired chocolate pudding that we stuffed inside the soft cupcake and topped it all off with a yummy cinnamon buttercream. It was to die for or better yet it was siesta worthy. We haven't been able to think of a proper name for it yet, so its going by "Taco Night" in our house, but it will be on the menu as soon as we decide on a name for this amazing cupcake. If anyone has any ideas for a name please feel free to email electric cupcakes, comment on the blog, or write on our FB wall. We love to hear what our fans and friends think and we are always open to new ideas or just a concept that we can translate into cupcake form for all to enjoy.

So as I was walking around one of the largest liquor stores in my area I suddenly felt inspired. So the hunt began, I wanted a cupcake flavor to come out of this store! So after a bit of shopping around for the perfect liqueur to make this cupcake, I believe I have found it. It combines two of my favorite taste as well, so it has to be a win-win right..?.... After taste testing I think it would make a wonderful addition to frosting too, so now all that's left is to sit down and come up with the perfect cupcake recipe to mesh it all together into absolute yumminess!
We have been rolling around ideas about doing a make your own cupcake. We will list all of our yummy cupcakes flavors, then a list of fillings that we can stuff into any of our cupcakes, and to top it all off a list of all of our delicious frostings for everyone to pick and choose from and at the end of the month we will post the winning cupcake, its name, pictures and most likely make the winner a free cupcake or 2. Pictures and details will be posted on the website, Facebook and Myspace as always. So be on the look out for that in the coming months.
