So my youngest son turned 11 April 6th and he loves everything penguin, so that's exactly what I made for him. The look on his face when he saw them was priceless.
So we tried making a cupcake with fruity pebbles and we were successful and we decided to name it "Pebbles" - Its a vanilla cupcake with crushed up fruity pebbles with a creamy vanilla buttercream frosting topped with fruity pebbles. First of many to come to our cereal cupcake line.

So I went to the store to buy dried cherries for a cupcake recipe idea I had and on accident picked up dried cranberries soaked in cherry juice. So I decide to turn a mistake into something yummy so I made cranberry-cherry cupcakes with orange buttercream. They turned out pretty good but needed a little bit more cranberry flavor. So I tweaked the recipe and plan to try again soon. I've heard no complaints about this one though, but I wasn't 100% happy.
We are making a whole line of drink theme cupcakes.... Yes some with alcohol baked right in them. Here is a sneak peek to what we plan on testing to see if they will fit on our yummy menu....
Rum & Coke
Mojito (traditional, strawberry & mango)
Margarita (traditional & strawberry)
Rum Runner
White Russian
If you have a favorite drink and would like to see me make it into a cupcake leave a comment, post on our FB wall, or send me a tweet via twitter.
I made our "Almost Famous" - Devils food cupcake with marshmallow cream filling, chocolate Ganache icing, piped with E-C's, and they turned out amazing. From the feed back it tastes better then the one on the grocery store shelves.
"Dreamsicle" - Orange cupcake with vanilla cream filling topped with vanilla buttercream frosting and an orange slice. This cupcake will take you back to summers of your childhood in one bite. Everything you love about the classic Dreamsicle with none of the melting.
